Your Committee is sorry to have to report that some of the temporary signs recently erected at Riley’s Pool were subsequently defaced by some disparaging comments being added about a member of the committee.
Such comments are not only childish, but are potentially hurtful to persons so named and also risk bringing the club into disrepute. As such they are completely ‘out of order’ and will not be tolerated. Disciplinary action will be taken if perpetrators are identified.
This club runs on goodwill, and especially the goodwill of those on the Committee who put a huge amount of their time, and much effort [often unseen], into running the club – for the benefit of all.
In the spirit of openness, the committee would like to stress that if ANYONE has ANY ISSUES they feel need to be raised/aired they are very WELCOME to CONTACT any member of the Committee – by phone or or email – and they will be fully considered.
