This coming Saturday (6th July) we have 29 juniors coming to Preeswood for an angling taster day. As a result most of the water will be closed to members for the morning.
Events like this help promote our sport/pastime/hobby – call it what you will, it always needs new blood so maybe you could help make the event a success?
For example, anyone fishing beforehand is urged to help us make the pool look its best, e.g. pick up any litter [even if not yours], pull up any Ragwort and weeds in the pegs and do what you can to move the ever present goose muck!
