With temperatures still freezing at Night Ryleys continues to fish poorly and weights are again very low. 1st. Roy Cooper 6-4-0 (2 carp a chub and a few bits caught on sweetcorn, worm and maggot off peg 18.) 2nd was a tie 5-12-0 with Nick Cooper (1 carp a good hybrid and bits caught on maggot off peg 26.) and Bernie Peake (2 carp and bits caught on assorted baits off peg 1.) The match was very close to being a 3-way as Roy caught his chub of 8oz. with only 10 minutes to go. Weights will hopefully increase this week as temperatures are due to rise and the long awaited fish stocks also arrive this week.
