HODNET ANGLING CLUB
WELCOME TO HODNET ANGLING CLUB.
We are a thriving angling club of approximately 300 members with an established History. We provide different coarse fishing opportunities on a variety of Club Waters in and around Hodnet, near Market Drayton, Shropshire.
We have a number of different Membership fee categories and are keen to encourage greater junior participation. Partly in support of this aim, free and discounted junior memberships are available and full members can also take a nominated child from their family fishing without further charge (conditions apply).
From 2022 new and existing members can now join/re-join (renew) online, using the Clubmate system. See our Membership page for more details.
One of our Committee members is a qualified angling coach and organises periodic coaching sessions for youngsters wishing to try our sport/develop their skills.
We operate a regular programme of Club Matches and are always looking to improve both the range of waters on offer and their facilities.
In recent years special disabled access pegs have been provided at some waters (Preeswood and Riley’s), partly funded by a National Lottery award.
