For some years now we have used the online Clubmate system to handle the bulk of our membership processes. However, for much of that time we have struggled to get it to perform exactly as we would want, i.e. to have it issue desired emails in the right order, on time and to have them/the recorded membership information match our membership year, i.e. main memberships running from the 1st April to 31st March.
This year we have had another go, and with some further input from Clubmate believe we may now have it set up to better match our requirements, especially for new members. For renewing members, many of whom have memberships with recorded expiry dates at different times in March/April, the system may this year struggle (due to a corruputed software update – only fixed 11/4/26) to issue the required documents exactly as expected* to everyone, but from next year (when everyone should have a recorded membership expiry date of 31/3/27) things should supposedly run without a hitch!
Before renewing via Clubmate this year please ensure
a) your profile information is up to date/complete and
b) you have a read of the Club Information/Fisheries Info page before proceeding.
Note. Whatever Clubmate may have recorded, all current memberships (unless specially agreed) do expire on 31/3/26, so from 1/4/26 you need to have renewed, or taken out a further membership, for the year ahead.
