The weather was good but the fishing was still very poor with few fish caught. 1st. John McCann 10-7-0 (1 carp, 2 crucian and bits caught on assorted baits off peg 12.) 2nd. Bernie Peake 5-3-8 (Chucked his bits back and was drying out his nets when a carp struck with 5 minutes to go caught on sweetcorn off peg 7.) 3rd. Andy Peate 2-10-0 (2 crucian carp caught on sweetcorn off peg 16.)
