Results for the Open match fished on the Canal at Goldstone on Sunday 17-04-2016. After yet another Saturday night frost There were some reasonable weights but many anglers struggled to catch. 1st. Paul Dobing 10-0-0 (Bream and bits caught on worm and caster in B section.) 2nd. Geoff Shaw 6-11-0 ( plenty of bits caught on punch in A section.) 3rd. Dez Dingwall 6-5-0 (2 bream and bits again in A section.) 4th. Andy Bebbington 5-12-0 ( caught bits steadily in C section.) Section winners A section Steve Fogal 4-3-12, B section Roy Cooper 1-10-0, C section Colin Hamer 2-9-0 and D section Pete Sheckleston 1-6-14.
