Results of the Open match fished at Preeswood on Sunday 21-02-2016.  With strong winds and waves nearly a foot high at times, Bernard Peake on peg 6 opted to feeder fish the margins on white pellets and what a result. 10 carp caught and only 1 lost for a weight of 72-10-0 that’s an average of 7lb. plus. 2nd. Roy Cooper 5-1-0 (caught 1 carp and lost 3 on pole fished maggot and bread off peg 10. With only four bites in the space of half an hour it pays to hold on to every fish.) As last week ther were several dry nets and nobody else caught.
