Results of the Open match fished at the Common pool at Goldstone on Thursday 09-02-2017. with Goosanders and Cormarants chasing fish under the ice the week before and a cold easterly on the day:-Fish were very hard to find with only two anglers catching fish. 1st. Terry Nutt 2-11-0 ( Only 2 bites, 1 carp and 1 tench caught on ledgered bread punch off peg 6.) 2nd. Bernie Peake 0-3-0 ( A few small perch caught on pinkie off peg 16.)
