After a winter netting to remove some of its carp, a tree/bush clearing work party was held at the end of Feb – which saw many members of The Committee and a good handful of Members turn up. The day was kind in terms of weather and the maxim ‘many hands make light work’ saw lots of trees and bushes removed/cut back – the initial aim being to let more air and light into the pool as the first stage of its planned improvement.
